As part of the Accident and Sickness Program for Exchanges (ASPE), Exchange Participants have access to ASPE Compass, a 24-hour telephonic and virtual mental health support and referral service.
ASPE Compass is provided by IMG in partnership with TELUS Health and is available to all Exchange Participants throughout their exchange program in their host country. The service complements the health benefits provided through ASPE and offers confidential support for both urgent and non-urgent mental health concerns.
ASPE Compass Services
ASPE Compass can provide:
Mental health advice and support
Mental health crisis intervention
Sexual assault response and support
Violent crime response and support
Guidance and referrals to appropriate mental health resources
Identification and referral of conditions requiring immediate, in-person medical evaluation
The service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. TELUS Health professionals are trained to respond to serious situations, including mental health crises, sexual assault, and violent crime, and can provide appropriate guidance and referrals.
