Fulbright to India Guide – 2021-2022
Megha Sunger joined the United States India Educational Foundation (USIEF) as Deputy Director in January 2023. She works closely with USIEF’s Fulbright programs, the four regional offices and the USIEF Board of Directors to deliver the objectives of the Foundation and explore new opportunities for growth and diversification.
Megha has over 18 years of experience of delivering bilateral and multilateral policy programs in key development sectors including education, research and innovation, sustainability, and skill-based training. Previously, she worked with the British Council Delhi, UNESCAP Asian & Pacific Centre of Transfer of Technology Transfer and British High Commission Delhi to deliver government funded programs including UK – India Education and Research Initiative(UKIERI), UNESCAP – Asia Pacific S&T Action Plan for India and India – UK Accelerating Smart Power and Renewable Programme (ASPiRE).
Megha holds a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and an Executive MBA from Faculty of Management Studies(FMS), University of Delhi. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Development from Symbiosis Institute of Distance Learning, Pune and APM Project Management Qualification (SCQF Level 7). In her free time, Megha loves to play sudoku and travel with her family and friends.
