Priyanjana Ghosh joined the United States India Educational Foundation (USIEF) as the Senior Program Officer for the American Fulbright Program in October 2014. She has been associated with USIEF for over eight years, and currently administers Fulbright-Nehru, and other Fulbright fellowships for American citizens.
Priyanjana has extensive experience in the development sector, especially in the field of diplomacy programs and international volunteerism. Prior to working with USIEF, Priyanjana worked for six years at the American India Foundation (AIF), New Delhi heading the William J Clinton Fellowship Program which brings in a select number of highly skilled young professionals from the USA to work with leading NGOs and social enterprises in India. Earlier she worked with the non-profit Youthreach in their mass volunteerism campaign within Delhi. Priyanjana also worked with Bharatiya Yuva Shakti Trust (BYST) housed under the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), awarding financial support to budding entrepreneurs.
Priyanjana Ghosh holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi and a master’s degree in social work from Delhi School of Social Work, University of Delhi. Priyanjana is a mother of a neurodiverse kid and a strong advocate for rights for inclusion and diversity in the society for children living with autism. During her downtime, Priyanjana loves to spend time with her two children and read romantic fiction.
